Once it is installed, you’ll want to activate the plugin in the WordPress dashboard by visiting the Plugins page and clicking on the Activate link under Easy Digital Downloads.
Now, in your WordPress menu, you’ll see a new menu item called Downloads.
Go to Downloads > Settings and configure the options to fit your preferences and business needs.
Once your store is configured, you are ready to create your first product. It’s important to understand the differences between a product and a course. With Easy Digital Downloads, your customers will purchase a product from your store, and as a result of their purchase, they will be enrolled in your online video course. The video course and the product are two separate items, but they integrate with each other very easily.

You can create your course by visiting the Courses menu item and clicking on New Course.
Linking your Lunchbox Course to your product
Now that you have both your product created and your course created, we need to tell WordPress to enroll any customers that purchase your product into the course you just made.
We can do that by navigating to the Downloads menu item and choosing All Downloads.
Now, find the product that you created earlier and click on its name in order to edit it.
Once you are on the edit screen for your product, you’ll see that there is a new box in the sidebar that allows you to select the course that purchasers of that product should be enrolled in.
Simply check the box next to each course that you would like to enroll your purchasers in. When a customer purchases that download, they will automatically be enrolled in the associated courses.
